What is the Glenn Hoddle Academy (GHA)?
The Glenn Hoddle Academy is a leading independent development centre for football helping young players to fulfil their potential through expert assessment and coaching.
Over the past three years, the Glenn Hoddle Academy has fulfilled Glenn’s vision of offering a second chance to talented young footballers released by clubs to enable them to make their future in the professional game. Since 2008 more than 60 players have benefitted from GHA scholarships and are now better placed than ever to fulfil their dreams.
In considering the longer-term needs of the game, the importance of encouraging players at grassroots level is undisputed. In the next stage of its development, the Academy is aiming for a wide impact and opening its doors to committed players at all levels. Through innovative new programmes in Spain, the Academy will give access to the same level of professional expertise, experience and individual attention for which it has earned its reputation in youth development.
